In 1998/1999 Council commissioned a Retail Strategy which aimed to guide retail development in and around the City of Bathurst over the period 1999-2020.

Since the Retail Strategy 1999 was adopted significant changes have occurred to the retail landscape in the Bathurst CBD in line with that Strategy.

In light of the recent changes to the retail landscape and potential future changes, Council now requires a new Retail Strategy to guide retail development for the next 20 years (to 2030).

Council is seeking the services of suitably qualified individuals or organisations to prepare a new Retail Strategy.  If you feel you or your organisation are in a position to prepare a new Retail Strategy on behalf of Bathurst Regional Council, please submit your proposal including schedule of fees by 4.00pm Monday 23 November 2009.
