Annual Submission Based Support

Community Groups and Charities

Council shall call for applications for an annual submission from community groups, charities and others seeking assistance (including financial, or “in-kind” and discounting of fees) for the coming year.  Submissions will be sought during January to March each year for inclusion in the budget calculations for the next financial year.  A report will be presented to Council as part of the annual Management Plan.

Council is currently preparing its budget for 2015/2016 and is now calling for expressions of interest for funding.  Community organisations and individuals who wish to apply for funding from Council, for the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016, can make an application on the appropriate form which is available from the Civic Centre offices or can be downloaded here.

Forms must be completed and delivered to Council by 4.00 pm on Tuesday 17 February 2015 for consideration for inclusion in Council's 2015/2016 budget.  Those Organisations or Groups who have received funding in past years must re-apply if they wish to be considered for further funding.

Bathurst Disability Access Grants

Bathurst Regional Council in partnership with the Bathurst Regional Access Committee provides grants to assist small businesses and not-for-profit organisations in the local area to improve access for people with a disability. 


Village Improvement Program

Council has provided $10,000 in its current Detailed Budget to be used to develop infrastructure in the rural villages of the Bathurst Region. The "rural" villages include; Hill End, Rockley, Sofala, Sunny Corner, Trunkey Creek, Wattle Flat and Yetholme.
