Drive Bathurst 2009 is a five day invitation-only event utilising the Mount Panorama circuit at Bathurst NSW. The aim of the event is to give experienced club competitors and motor sport enthusiasts the opportunity to receieve expert instructions from well-known and respected race champions and then drive on the full Mount Panorama circuit.

The event consists of two categories: driveBathurst and sprintBathrust. driveBathurst is an untimed non-competitive event whilst sprintBathurst is a timed competition. Eligible competitors may enter either or both categories.

2009 will see special guest and racing icon Jim Richards at Mount Panorama for the 5 day event, providing priceless information in regards to racing and Mount Panorama in particular. The 7-times Bathurst 1000 winner will be welcomed with open arms by entrants as they soak up years of knowledge from the racing superstar.
