Bathurst Sportsground is a multi-use venue used for athletics, cycling and cricket. The ground has running tracks, long jump pits, shot put cage and a discus net. For the cyclists there is a bitumen track going all the way around the ground.
The sportsground has one of the town's main turf wickets which is used for Bathurst's A grade cricket as well as any representative games that are played in Bathurst. There is also cricket practice nets. The Sportsground has field lights installed for any events that go into the evening.
Facilities include large change rooms, a toilet block and canteen facilities. A picket fence surrounds the ground for spectator protection. There is plenty of seating available around the ground as well as a heritage listed undercover grandstand.
The sportsground is located on Durham Street (opposite the Bathurst Visitor's Information Centre).
