The program provides the opportunity for two students in either year 10 or 11, studying Japanese, and attending a school within the Bathurst Region, to travel to Bathurst's sister city, Ohkuma Japan. Bathurst Regional Council will pay for the return airfares for two students to visit our sister city, Ohkuma in Japan where you will be home hosted and attend the local high school for four weeks during September and October. Applications are now open for the 2009 Sister City Scholarship Program.
