The West Bathurst Community House is located at 5 Wark Parade, next to Westpoint Shopping Centre. It is available for hire on a permanent or casual basis to commercial and community groups and for private functions. The venue is perfect for playgroups, meetings, training, classes, social gatherings or parties. 

It is possible to hire the entire Community House or one of the three different sized rooms within the house. The communal kitchen area is fully equipped with crockery and cutlery provided. There is seating and place settings for 40 persons, as well as children’s tables and chairs. There is a large paved outdoor area and a fully fenced grassed play area. Disabled access and facilities are provided. The house also has its own car park.

The permanent and casual hire rates listed below are kept low in order to encourage all user groups/hirers to make the most of this fantastic facility.

Permanent Bookings
Community non-profit – per hour per room - $ 8.50
Community non-profit – flat day rate per room - $32.00
Commercial – per hour per room - $11.50
Commercial – flat day rate per room - $45.00

Casual Bookings
Community non-profit – per hour per room - $14.50
Community non-profit – flat day rate per room - $61.50
Commercial – per hour per room - $17.50
Commercial – flat day rate per room - $79.00

An additional security charge for after hours access will also apply.

Casual hire public liability insurance is also available at a cost of $50.00 per function for those groups and individuals who do not hold their own insurance. All user groups must provide insurance details before booking details can be confirmed.
