Aside from finding plenty to read, children can be part of storytimes, have a go on the PlayStation,  search the Internet or join the Library's school holiday activities.

Bathurst is New South Wales' oldest inland settlement. The Local History collection contains resources relating to the rich history, geography and environment of the region.

The Family History Group of Bathurst provides assistance to people researching their genealogy.  The group meets each Tuesday afternoon in the library to discuss their interests and to share their resources. 

The Mobile Library Van carries the Library's services to the doorsteps of residents and Schools throughout the Bathurst Region.  There are regular visits to:

Free access to the Internet  including wireless connection (Wi-fi) and a computer with Microsoft Office. Please request a printer if you need one.

Library members have free access to the Internet in the Library during opening hours for one (1) hour per person per day.

Membership to Bathurst Library is free and available to all residents or ratepayers of Bathurst Regional Council. Any charges and fees for extra services and overdue items can be viewed here.
