On March 8 each year International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated around the world.  On the morning of Thursday, 8 March 2012, Bathurst Regional Council will host an International Women's Day morning tea in Kings Parade.  A delicious complimentary morning tea will be served to the women of Bathurst.  Music, demonstrations and information will also feature during the morning tea.  A variety of local organisations and services, including women's health and educational services, will have information displays at the event.  Women will have the opportunity to network, be informed and receive recognition for their acheivements in the local community. 

All women are invited to come along and enjoy some refreshments.
